Disappointments on M4300's power output

The 5V terminals on the #4 and #5 pins are not used, so it's already well known that the existing cables for PDA phones couldn't be used for charging. But then I had a slim hope that the USB_5V terminal on the #16 pin might have some output...
But there was none.
So external devices using 5V power can't be used directly... Sigh.
