Standing on the Prime Meridian

The line that separates east and west

I'm visiting the Royal Observatory Greenwich, where the Greenwich Meridian is located. It became the Prime Meridian (0° longitude) 130 years ago, in 1884.

I've visited this place before, but it feels fresh every time. Maybe it's because I come here every decade or so.

Stepping on the line

To London, again

Feels like going back

Last month's London visit was a part of preparing for this trip - a three-week training near Paddington Station with about 20 people. I will be both a trainee and a coordinator. Things are okay so far.

The king takes a stroll in the airport

Meanwhile, a reenactment of the royalties taking a walk in the park is in progress. That was interesting to watch. It should be a nice counterpart to what I'll be seeing in London.

Returning to Seoul

Here's my ride home

With things wrapped up more or less in London, I'm now returning to Seoul. Interesting pics from London shall be posted on The Toon-Box in the coming days.

Arrival in London

At Heathrow Terminal 4 underground station

Well, here I am in London. It's been a while since I rode the Tube. Except for the spotty coverage of Vodafone 3G network, things are good.

Off to London

There's my ride on the back

This is the very first time I am going overseas for business purposes. In about half an hour, I'll be flying to London to check on things for the training program inset up for June. I hope things go well.
