New design is now in place

After much mucking around with the CSS file, the new design for the site is complete... I think.

Featured in the left of the top banner is my trusty... tool box... from Canada. It came in handy in many occasions, including Xbox modding. You'll also notice three driver heads adorning the right side of each post. These micro-screwdrivers saw much action and is somewhat worn out, but I may not need replacement any time soon. (Update: I've lightened the colours to make them less distractive)

The overall tone of the site is now blue. I was thinking of greenish tint, but good lord, that looked ugly. The design for the previous website was predominantly orange-and-blue and well, that didn't exactly fly either. I hope this design is more palatable to wider audiences. Maybe not.

Anyways, I think I'll need to add a couple of static pages and then it's time to move to pepping up the forums.

Okay, that wasn't so bad...

The old news blurbs have been copied to here as well. The internal/external link restoration policy have been the same as the articles. The whole archive looks 'complete' now. Next up is to set up a custom design.

A few things to note:
- The whole 'old site' archive, in the new format, takes up exactly 100 pages total, spanning from 1997 to 2003.
- Most of the actual content were published between 2000 and 2002, which corresponds to my university undergrad days.
- There had been a failed attempt to revive the Tool-Box site back in 2003, which is when I completed Pyongyang Metro website. I guess I lost steam mid-way.
- The start of the hiatus period, around late 2002, is when I started using a PDA-phone (MITs-M330; acquired on 2002-10-23).
- There was a third Portable Athlon, created in January 2004. Had the site revival gone through it might have appeared on the Tool-Box site.

There are a whole bunch of ramblings and back stories that had happened between 2003 and 2005, and perhaps, they might actually make it to this website. Don't take my word for it, though...

Old articles are completely imported

All previous Wesley's Tool-Box articles are brought to this place now. Relevant pictures have been uploaded so they show up without any problem. Internal links referencing different articles have also been checked and edited to point to the correct article within this place. What's NOT been checked or corrected are external links present in the articles - this is deliberate. Some links simply don't exist anymore, and some links could be present in a different URL now but I do not have the motivation to do all the checks and corrections. So basically the links are there for historical value now, and if you're willing, there's Internet Archive to see what it looked like at the time.

You may also notice that the blog is now named "Wesley's Tool-Box" instead of "Wesley's Experimental Blog" to indicate that this place is going to replace the static website which has pretty much been dead in the waters for the last... 3 years? Geez. I've attempted renewal at one point but I guess it never did go through all the way. Anyhow, now I need to bring all the ramblings from the old site and the transfer should be complete in terms of content.

After that, it's design change time...
